ERP Business Change

The Job

To design and deliver business change activities centred on a replacement ERP system. A member of the core ERP Programme team – working with an ERP software partner organisation, business unit stakeholders, and an in-house IT team. The role spans the full lifecycle: business process & role redesign; organisation readiness; end-user education and documentation; and, business team support.

The Role

Technical skills:
ERP enabled business change (ERP systems: experience of Microsoft AX or D365 F&O desirable)
Extensive knowledge of organisation readiness, business process redesign, education and documentation design and delivery
Deep Experience of industry processes in at least one sector: retail; finance; manufacturing; logistics
Experience of phased & ‘big-bang’ implementations
Strong background in project delivery and working within business change structured frameworks

To demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
To demonstrate the capacity to work across multiple projects and workstreams
To have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills

Communication and problem solving:
To shape, prepare and facilitate workshops and presentations
To define business change strategy
To solve problems and seize opportunities without waiting to be told
To present materials in a form that’s easy for the business to understand

People engagement:
To understand the drivers and pressures of business roles & responsibilities
To see business process and system usage from a business perspective
To escalate issues that require senior management input in a timely manner

Business focus:
The ability to focus on the business outcomes, understanding the impact of change on the business
Identify options to advise business stakeholders on the pros and cons of a range of solutions
Working with the business as the ‘client’ in an advisory and supportive manner

Continuing development:
To take personal responsibility for development, identifying opportunities and undertaking any course or training required for further development
Report to the Programme Manager/Project Lead with timely and accurate information
You may be required to perform additional tasks and responsibilities in line with the needs of the business
